Start Arts Wellbeing Centre

Katrina previously volunteered as a studio assistant at Start in Salford. In this role Katrina helped out in the ceramics workshop and also helped run and maintain the studio and its facilities. Katrina worked closely with the public and built relationships with like mided people.

Every Tuesday afternoon there is a ceramics lesuire group. Members with an interest in ceramics come along and get to experiment with different clays and making methods. Katrina ran this workshop for several months and assisted members to make some lovely work.

Venture Arts, Hulme

In March 2010 Katrina was part of the team that organised the community arts project called Hulme Is Where The Art Is. She was mainly in charge of taking bookings from all artists and musicians wishing to take part in the event.
